Provides knowledge and skills needed to manage a desktop operating system, including practical and analytical skills needed to install, configure and ensure the operation of a computer. Instruction is in both the Windows and Linux desktop environments and includes planning and installation of the appropriate operating systems; configuration of computer peripherals, and computer virtualization platforms.
Learn to manage and secure computers and basic network infrastructures, including fundamental computer and network theories such as computer system models, operating systems, safety procedures, network infrastructures and architectures, and security threats and mitigation.
Provides the knowledge and skills needed to administer Windows Operating Systems, including installing, configuring, and managing both client and server computers. Learn planning and installation of the appropriate operating systems, configuration of system components and peripherals, and computer virtualization platforms in a variety of Windows environments.
Provides students with the knowledge and skills required to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. Covers networking fundamentals, LAN/WAN technologies, basic security and wireless concepts, routing and switching fundamentals, and configuring simple networks.
Provides knowledge and skills needed to manage a server operating system; including practical and analytical skills needed to install, configure and ensure the operation of a server. Instruction is in both the Windows and Linux server environments and includes planning and installation of the appropriate operating systems, configuration of server components and computer virtualization platforms.
Provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage the Linux server operating system and includes practical and analytical skills needed to install, configure and ensure the operation of a Linux server. Instruction is in the Linux server environment and includes planning and installation of the appropriate operating system, configuration of server components, and troubleshooting common system errors. No prior Linux experience required.
Provides the knowledge and skills needed to develop, install, configure, and manage a web application on a Linux server. Learn the Linux server environment, web server applications, client and server side scripting languages, and databases.
Provides students with the knowledge and skills required to manage and secure network infrastructures. Includes practical and analytical skills needed to design; operate and troubleshoot, and secure network software and hardware. Instruction includes fundamental networking theories including addressing; physical infrastructure; network architecture; security threats, and mitigation techniques.
This training prepares you to take the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) exam, which leads to CCNA certification. Four modules cover networking fundamentals; routing protocols and concepts; LAN switching and wireless, and accessing the WAN.
Prepares students for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security certification exam. Students must have a certificate of completion from CCNA course four, or be CCNA certified.
Three separate modules cover print, multimedia, and web design. Through a hands-on, portfolio-based approach, you will learn the skills you need for work in the digital media industry. You will plan, design, and create computer-based media using a variety of industry-standard tools, and will effectively combine video, audio, written content, animation, and digital images into an assortment of projects including CD-ROMs, DVDs, presentations, videos, marketing materials, technology-based education, and web sites.
Provides students with the basic knowledge and skills needed for developing and designing websites. Front End Web Developers design the user interface and are responsible for visual design, user interaction and browser compatibilities. Students who successfully complete the program can use the skills learned in a variety of industries including graphic design and prototyping, website design, web marketing and consulting services.
Provides students with the knowledge and skills to develop, publish, and market cross-platform mobile applications. Students will use open source tools to build mobile apps that are compatible with Android, IOS, and Windows Mobile.
